Navigating the Employee Dashboard
Welcome to the Pro Software employee dashboard. This article will cover what you have access to from the employee dashboard. Please note the dashboard has been customized to each individual client so the widgets available may not display or be in the same place!
Home
This is your main dashboard where you can access widgets that have been created based on your company’s needs. You can initiate different actions from this screen such as accessing your profile, benefits information, payroll info, and links to company relevant information. You will also be able to submit a Change Request to your employer for changes to your Direct Deposit, Federal W4, and State W4.
For employees who utilize timekeeping, you will have access to clock in and out on the main dashboard for easy punching!
Performance
If your company utilizes Performance Management within Pro Software, you will be able to review the status, due dates, and reviews completed within this module.
Time & Attendance
There are two main functions of the Time & Attendance module.
Time Clock: Here you will have access to clock in and time out. This will also provide you with a list of recent time entries for your review.
Time Card: The Time Card portion of the module will give you a per pay period view of your current time card. You will have the ability to add time punches using the “Add” function.
My Payroll Information
My Payroll Information allows you to access a detailed viewed into your payroll and work profile. Under the following tabs you will be able to view:
Profile: Your profiles contains General, Employment, Pay, Contact Info, Equal Employment Opportunity, I-9, and Miscellaneous information that is relevant to you.

Tax Setup: This portion will contain information relevant to your current payroll tax setup. You can view Federal Tax, State Tax, and Local Tax (if applicable) setup. This information determines how you are being taxed for Federal Withholding, State Withholding and Local Withholding.
You can submit a change request to change the amount be withheld for Federal and State withholding on the Home Screen!
Direct Deposit: This tab in your payroll information will show your current setup for direct deposited funds.
If you would like to update your direct deposit setup, you can initiate this change on the Home Screen!
Time Off: Your Time Off tab will display your Plan Summary and Requests tabs.
Scheduled Pay: This tab will display any recurring payments that are made to you through payroll. Pay such as “WFH Reimbursement” and “Phone Stipend” would be displayed in this tab.
Deductions: Your Deductions tab will show the regularly scheduled deductions from your paycheck. Deductions can be items like health insurance benefits, loan repayments, 401k, and other miscellaneous items dependent on your company.
You will be able to view the EE Per Pay (how much you pay each period) and ER Per Pay (how much your employer pays on your behalf) in this section.
Dependents/Beneficiary: If you are enrolled in a benefits plan that has options asking you to elect a dependent or beneficiary for your plan, you will be able to view their information in this tab. Typically, you will have information in this tab if you have elected for Life Insurance coverage.
Events: Your employer may utilize Pro Software to display different company wide events such as an annual office party or company picnic. These events will show up in this tab.
Attachments: Any documentation that you have completed through onboarding or uploaded during the onboarding process will display in the Attachments section. You can view historical documents related to general employment, hiring, medical, performance, and taxes.
Check History
Your Check History information will display historical paychecks you have received. By clicking on the “Eye” icon, you will be able to produce a detailed paystub for further review.
Year to Date
The employee Year to Date section will display historical Earnings, Deductions, and Taxes. This is a great area to see a snapshot of your payroll history on a yearly basis.
W2/ 1099s
Employee year-end tax documents will be available in this section of your employee portal. Depending on your employment status you will have access to a W2, 1099, or ACA documentation.
Documents:
In the Documents tab you can find information that you have completed during your eHire process. This can include things such as an NDA or Federal and State W4 information.
It is always helpful to review your completed documents once onboarded to ensure the information you intended to complete is correct!
eBenefits:
The eBenefits section contains two main sections (Benefit Enrollment and Life Change).
Benefit Enrollment: When your employer’s benefits plan becomes active or renews, you will be able to complete the enrollment process directly from your portal. On the right hand side of your screen, you will be prompted to complete the steps necessary to finish the enrollment.
Life Change: If you are currently enrolled or experience a life change event and need to update your benefits elections, you can do so from this section of your employee portal.
You will need to list the Event Date, Life Event, and upload a file verifying the life event. Once a document has been uploaded you will have the option to select the benefit plan you are looking to change.
